BioProcess Digital Courses

Animal cell culture processes
Learn how to scale-up and optimize animal cell bioreactors
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course teaches the simulation based scale-up and optimization of animal cell bioreactors. It first describes the kinetic analysis and modeling simulation at the laboratory. Then, at the industrial scale, the optimization of the bioreactor operational mode and variables. The methodology is learned through a R&D project on monoclonal antibody production.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN ?
Design and analyze experiments to determine the kinetics of animal cell cultures
-
Construct simulation models of cell cultures in batch, fed-batch and perfusion operations
-
Use process simulators to scale up, design and optimize cellular bioreactors
-
How to control dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide, medium pH and proteins qualities ?
-
